About Harvestehuder THC
Harvestehuder THC enjoyed their time as hosts of the EHL Men’s KO16 last October having overcome the challenges of Western Wildcats and Real Club de Polo.
This is their first EHL season since 2016’s run to the Bronze medal in Barcelona having previously won the competition in their debut 2013/14 season.
They have a number of players still in place from those successes like Austrians Michael Körper and Xaver Hasun, Englisman George Farrant, South African Nick Spooner and Kilian Pöhling who is back at the club following a spell with Hamburger Polo. They have been augmented by the likes of South Africa striker Nqobile Ntuli, rising Austrian stars Moritz Frey and Fülöp Losonci.
Körper is one of the EHL’s most prolific scorers, doing so at a ferocious pace – he has 24 goals in 14 fixtures in the competition while he also scored the winning shoot-out in the 2014 GRAND FINAL.
The legendary Tobias Hauke, however, has retired from the club game following last season.
They qualified for this season’s EHL as winners of Germany’s third place playoff fixture and they since won the national indoor title in early February.
