About Club Egara
Club Egara qualified for the EHL KO16 as Spain’s third seed following a third place finish in the league last season behind KO16 opponents Real Club de Polo and eventual champions Atlètic Terrassa.
They crowned their season in spectacular style when they won the EuroHockey Ranking Cup in front of a lively home crowd, outdoing Mannheimer HC in the final and Rotterdam in the semis. Marc Recasens was the star man in that event, scoring six times in three games.
The side features Gerard Clapés, Recasens and Xavier Gispert who are part of the Spanish side for the EuroHockey Championship qualifiers in Ourense.
