About Saint Germain HC
Saint Germain retained the French title and assured themselves a place at the EHL next October in Barcelona as they got the best of CA Montrouge in the elite final 3-0. They were knocked out at the KO16 stage last Easter by Club Egara in a shoot-out, denying them back-to-back appearances in the KO8.
They will travel to the KO16, however, without three key components of their success with Blaise Rogeau and Francois Goyet moving to La Gantoise while Kevin Mercurio will play with Klein Zwitserland next season. Coming in are Marc Font and Sergi San Marti from Servette in Switzerland.
Saint Ger meet Dinamo Kazan for the second time in their EHL history, the first coming all the way back at the 2008 KO16.
