About Lisnagarvey
Lisnagarvey are back for a third season in the EHL following a remarkable season in Ireland, winning five trophies in the 2021/22 campaign. They took the Ulster Kirk Cup, the Irish Senior Cup and the EY Hockey League title while the vital one for taking Ireland’s EHL ticket came in the EY Champions Trophy when they edged out Banbridge in the final.
They polished off the season with the EuroHockey Club Challenge I title in Copenhagen in June, scoring 38 goals in the process.
They do have a couple of their strikers unavailable this season with brothers Ben (Royal Uccle) and Matthew Nelson (Australia) moving overseas; their elder brother Daniel will be one of the forwards leading the line. The side is led by captain James Corry and Olympian Jonny Bell while there is plenty of youth with rising Irish stars Mark McNellis, Peter McKibbin, James Milliken, Johnny Lynch, Ollie Kidd and Troy Chambers.
