About HC Bloemendaal
The Euro Hockey League’s most successful side are hoping to become the first club to win the EHL three times in-a-row following victories in 2021 and 2022. Indeed, they are unbeaten in the EHL games they have played since 2015 – a run of 12 successive victories.
It is a typically star-studded side with six of the Dutch World Cup bronze medal winning panel – Maurits Visser, Thierry Brinkman, Jorrit Croon, Teun Beins, Floris Wortleboer and Dennis Warmerdam – in the side along with Belgium’s Arthur van Doren.
Florian Fuchs has stepped back from the first team having won the EHL five times between UHC Hamburg and Bloemendaal while Yannick van der Drift is playing this season with Real Club de Polo.
Coming in, Warmerdam has arrived from Pinoké and Floris van der Kroon moved to the ’t Kopje from HGC.
They sit in second place in the Hoofdklasse in a comfortable playoff position, six points behind leaders SV Kampong but eight points clear of third placed Rotterdam.
