About Gantoise HC
Gantoise advanced to the EHL FINAL8 following a 7-0 win over Swiss side Rotweiss Wettingen and then a brilliant shoot-out success against AH&BC Amsterdam.
Before that, they qualified for this season of the EHL with a run to the Belgian championship final, only missing out on the title to Racing Club de Bruxelles.
Since then, they are in good shape in the Ion Hockey League where they are currently in third place.
Star man is Antoine Kina with French trio Charles Masson, Francois Goyet and Etienne Tynevez keeping things motoring while Argentina goalkeeper Tomi Santiago is a high quality shot-stopper.
Last summer was busy on the transfer front for the club. French international brothers Timothée (Orée) and Mathis Clément (CA Montrouge) and Irish duo Luke Madeley and Sean Murray (KHC Leuven) have joined along with Roman Duvekot and Emile Esquelin.
Moving on were Alex de Paeuw and Blaise Rogeau (Waterloo Ducks), Arthur de Borrekens (Herakles), top scorer Pepijn Scheen (Indiana), Agus Bugallo and Martin Ferreiro.
