Match report

SV Arminen picked up a 4-2 victory in their Ranking Match contest with SK Slavia Prague to earn a 13th place ranking with the Czech side finishing with a 17th rating.

The Austrian side got off the mark at the end of the first quarter with a Dominic Uher drag-flick and it was 2-0 courtesy of Alexander Bele’s diving finish.

A second Uher corner extended the gap to 3-0 before Krystof Bodnar made a piece of history with a rebound goal – it was the first for a Czech club in the EHL.

Robert Campe restored the three-goal gap when the tipped in a Lucas Loser cross and while Jan Brzak’s smart reverse-stick effort added to Slavia’s tally, Arminen remained in the clear.
