About SK Slavia Prague
Czechia’s history makers, the club was the first club from the country to play in EHL Men in 2022 and they became the first women’s club to achieve the same feat.
Last year was the club’s first time playing in the top division since the old EuroHockey Club Cup in 2002 and a first return to Den Bosch since 1999 when they ended in seventh place.
They did find the going tough in 2025, falling 8-0 to Surbiton and 4-0 to Club de Campo to end with an 11th place ranking overall.
But they have been on a steady incline in recent years, winning the Challenge I in both 2022 and 2023 before earning a sixth place finish in the Trophy in Hamburg in 2024.
And their back-to-back Czech championships allows them the chance to use last year’s experience to grow into this year’s competition.
Indoors, five of the panel – Jindřiška Neusser, Adéla Lehovcová, Natálie Nováková, captain Nikol Babická and Natálie Hájková – landed Indoor World Cup bronze in Croatia. They backed it up with a EuroHockey Indoor Championship silver in Prague.
