About SCHC
SCHC are hoping they can make the breakthrough on the EHL stage after a bronze medal in 2024 and a pair of fifth places in 2023 and 2025.
They do so with a strong side packed with star power including FIH World Player of the Year winners Xan de Waard and corner gun Yibbi Jansen. They are joined by fellow Olympic gold medalists Lisa Post, Marleen Jochems, Pien Dicke and Renée van Laarhoven.
They will be without the services of the Belgian goalkeeper Elodie Picard who is currently coming back from injury with Marsha Zwezereijn stepping up.
They have been the side to beat in the Hoofdklasse this season, building a six-point lead in the table to all but secure a place in the playoffs with several games to play.
The Bilthoven club is hoping to use this form to emulate their EuroHockey Club Cup gold in 2015 and silver in 2016.
