About Pinoké
Men’s hosts Pinoké are in their second EHL campaign following their first ever Dutch championship win last year, giving them hope of landing their first EHL medal following a fifth place last season.
Since then, they have bolstered their side with Johannes Mooij back in the Netherlands having played at Atlètic Terrassa for a number of seasons. He was the ABN AMRO Talent of the EHL in 2016 when with Amsterdam. Welsh international Jacob Draper is another high quality addition.
Otherwise, their trio of Belgians make a big impact with Alexander Hendrickx on corners and Florent van Aubel and Sébastien Dockier buzzing in the forward lines.
Marlon Landbrug has been in exceptional form in the Hoofdklasse while many of the side have been together for a long time. Joep Troest and Boris Aardenburg are also forcing their way into the reckoning for the Dutch senior panel.
They ended the first half of the Hoofdklasses season in second place, well primed for a title shot once again in 2024.
