About Junior FC
Junior FC will play in EHL Women for the second time following their run to the Spanish title last season. Their last appearance saw them pick up bronze in 2022 at the Wagener Stadium.
Their current internationals include Laura Bosch, Julia Strappato and Laia Vidosa while they also have the services of Berta and Anna Serrahima. Olympic and World Cup silver medalist star Maria Victoria (Vicky) Granatto from Argentina and double-Olympian Carlota Petchame from Spain bring vast skill and experience.
In addition, the Sant Cugat club feature the Junior World Cup player of the tournament Teresa Lima along with exceptional young goalkeeper Jana Martinez and Anna Gardsjord.
Also on their roster is 2018 FIH world player of the year nominee Gigi Oliva who they will hope can come back into contention in the second half of the season.
They sit in second place in the Spanish Liga Iberdrola with 27 points out of 33 on offer in the first half of the season.
