About HC Bloemendaal
The EHL’s most decorated club are going in pursuit of a seventh men’s title this season following a busy summer.
Joining the club for 2025/26 are German striker Elian Mazkour from Rot-Weiss Köln, Arno Van Dessel from Herakles and Max Langer from Orée along with EHL legend Marco Miltkau who switches from Klein Zwitserland.
With Sheldon Schouten also coming in from Oranje-Rood, it marks a significant turnover of players. Nathan Ephraums has returned to Australia while Marc Miralles rejoined Real Club de Polo while regular campaigners Floris van der Kroon (HDM) and Yannick van der Drift (HBS) also step away this term.
Nonetheless, it is still a side dripping with talent with Jorrit Croon, Floris Wortleboer, Maurits Visser and Zach Wallace at the heart of things.
Their thrilling 5-4 win over Kampong last Sunday – capped by Mazkour’s glorious winning goal – showed their teeth and they are sitting in second place in the Hoofdklasse table after five rounds, one point behind Rotterdam.
