About Gantoise HC (Men)

Gantoise men are riding high in the Belgian league and looking to carry that momentum into the EHL where they will compete in the FINAL8 for the third successive season. They hold a seven point lead at the top of the table with four matches to play.

This season, they added EHL winner Alexander Hendrickx to their line-up following his stellar spell with Pinoké. He has already scored over 30 times in his new colours.

Along with Maico Casella and Ignacio Nepote, he has been a vital addition to the side that won the Belgian title last spring.
They have linked up with a lot of strong forces, including Antoine Kina, Ireland’s Sean Murray and goalkeeper Jaime Carr, sharp-shooter Roman Duvekot and French Olympians Charles Masson and Etienne Tynevez.

Their first tie is a repeat of their 2024 RANKING MATCH game in which Royal Léopold were 4-1 winners. While the Ghent club are in the better league position, Léo won 4-1 in the Belgian league in November in addition to a 1-1 draw in September.
