About Club Campo de Madrid
Eduardo Aguilar’s team is undoubtedly one of the favourites to be in the mix for the Spanish title this season and they have reinforced with Belgian players Nicolas Poncelet and Jeremy Wilbers joining their side.
They add to a smattering of foreign input with Dutchman Thijs van Pelt and German player Daniel Schellinger featuring this season.
It adds an extra flavour to a panel packed with Spanish international talent from experienced striker Alvaro Iglesias to diminutive midfielder Rafael Vilallonga to goalkeeper Rafa Revilla while Alvaro Portugal and Ricardo Sanchez are key figures.
They started their campaign in confident fashion with a 5-0 defeat of Sardinero with Enrique Zorita firing home twice before they drew 3-3 with Atlètic Terrassa in game two.
The Spanish runners-up are hoping they can get back into medal contention for the first time in 14 years having taken silver in 2011.
They are currently unbeaten in the Spanish Iati league with three wins and a draw with Atlètic Terrassa on their record.
