About AH&BC Amsterdam
The Dutch giants are back in the EHL after a three-year break and also looking to end a 10-year wait for a medal in the competition, dating back to their silver in 2016.
That was the last of four medals the club has won – two silver and two bronze – with the gold very much in their sights having won the Hoofdklasse last season and becoming the first ever Dutch side to win the EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup in February.
Their panel is a strong one once again with some real star power; South African brothers Mustapha and Dayaan Cassiem are electrifying with the former scoring a series of wonder goals.
Floris Middendorp is an Olympic gold medalist; Oliver Payne – a new arrival this season from Holcombe – is one of the world’s best goalkeepers while Lee Morton brings drive and direct purpose to their attack.
Boris Burkhardt and Luke Dommershuijzen give them powerful options from corners, too.
They had a mixed first half of the season but a strong 2-0 win over SV Kampong in their first outdoor game of 2026 might be the kickstart to a strong run.
