This year’s EHL FINAL8 is endeavouring to be as sustainable and as circular as possible with a range of initiatives to showcase this ambition.
Among them, the Hockey Dreams Foundation will be welcoming donations of hockey sticks, balls and bibs to give them a second life.
The Foundation – a partner of the European Hockey Federation – will collect the equipment in a special rainbow artwork located at the Circlarity/The Wave stand at the event site.
Through the Hockey Dreams Foundation, the equipment will get a new life and the 45 Hockey Dreams coaches and thousands of kids very grateful for the donations.
Hockey Dreams supports young people in Uganda, Zambia and Malawi in realising their ambitions for a better future, doing this through hockey.
Coaches who grow up in challenging circumstances can go back to school, give weekly training to hundreds of kids in their neighborhoods and are role models on and off the field.
A beautiful, new destination for your old sticks. More info at www.hockeydreams.nl
