The users of Austrian sports website Laola1 have chosen Michael Körper as athlete of the month for February.

The 36-year-old Harvestehuder THC ace collected the most votes, prevailing over Austrian alpine skiing all-rounder Marco Schwarz, ski jumper Eva Pinkelnig, basketballer Jakob Pöltl and snowboarder Andreas Prommegger. 

Körper was player of the match in the Indoor World Cup final and was the tournament top scorer despite missing the first two games due to club commitments with HTHC, winning the German indoor title.

He is likely to be a key feature for the club at the ABN AMRO EHL Men’s FINAL8 where they meet Bloemendaal on April 6 in the Wagener Stadium.
