EHL sides Den Bosch and SCHC will face off in one of the marquee fixtures of the Dutch women’s Hoofdklasse season on Sunday in a battle between two potential title contenders.
Both won on the opening day of the season and were finalists in the championship in the spring, making this one to watch on the second big day of the club season.

Sunday also has a big battle between AH&BC Amsterdam against HGC with Eva de Goede facing her former club.
The Saturday games feature Pinoké up against Hurley (6.30pm) following on from the meeting of SV Kampong and Tilburg (4.30pm).
The men’s fixtures see Oranje-Rood against newly promoted Schaerweijde while Kampong have a local derby against another side up from the Promotionklasse, Voordaan.
Amsterdam and HGC also meet in the men’s competition while Pinoké face Den Bosch and Bloemendaal take on Rotterdam in a trio of high octane fixtures.

In Germany, it is close to a full double-weekend with 22 matches across the women’s and men’s divisions.

On the men’s side, EHL preparations are in full flow for Hamburg’s Harvestehuder THC and Polo Club. HTHC are on the road with a trip to Berlin on Saturday and then they head down to Munich for Sunday’s tie. Polo are at home against Düsseldorfer HC on Saturday in their one fixture.
In the women’s competition, Grossflotbekker THGC won a 3-2 thriller against Der Club an der Alster on Friday evening with both sides back in action on Sunday. The former go to Berlin while Alster meet UHC Hambur.
In Belgium’s men’s Ion Hockey League, the feature game this week on Play Sports and VOO is KHC Dragons and Waterloo Ducks at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
Dragons started the league with an impressive win at Gantoise with the latter looking to get on the board when they travel to Daring. Of the 3pm starts, Braxgata against Leopold is a highlight fixture.
On the women’s side, Gantoise go to Daring on Sunday (12pm) with Antwerp hosting Racing, Victory against Herakles, Orée facing Leuven and Braxgata up against Wellington with the 3.30pm game Dragons against the WatDucks.
In Spain, the finals of the Catalonian Cup are on with Real Club de Polo facing Club Egara on Saturday evening (5.30pm).
