Tickets have gone on sale for the EHL Men’s KO16 which takes place at the home of 2014 champions Harvestehuder THC in Hamburg from September 29th to October 2nd.
The four-day event features 16 leading clubs from 11 different countries in 16 fixtures, raising the curtain on the 2022/23 European club season.
Season tickets covering all the action cost €50 while two day tickets are available for €35 and single day tickets for €20.
The season ticket price is subject to a 10% Early Bird offer until September 9th. There are also reduced rates for youths and senior citizens. Tickets will be available to purchase via: https://ehlhockey.tv/tickets/
Each day will feature a team from the city of Hamburg with Hamburger Polo Club’s debut taking place on the first two days of action before the HTHC take centre stage on days three and four.
Polo will be the evening game on Thursday, September 29th when they face Wimbledon in a potential cracker (19.00 CET).
It will be the fourth fixture of the day which opens with the meeting of MHC Lille and AH&BC Amsterdam (12.15) and is followed by a battle between Switzerland’s Rotweiss Wettingen and Belgium’s Gantoise. The winner of those fixtures will meet in the KO8 on Friday, September 30th with a place at Eatser’s FINAL8 on the line.
Polo and Wimbledon are in the next quadrant and will play either France’s CA Montrouge or Ireland’s Lisnagarvey (16.45h) in their second game. In addition to the two KO8 fixtures on September 30th, there will be two classification fixtures with crucial ranking points on the line.
Saturday, October 1st sees eight more teams enter the fray. New English champions Old Georgians face experienced EHL campaigners SV Arminen (10.30) before two more newcomers hit the turf – Dutch side Pinoké coming up against SK Slavia Prague (12.45) who become the first Czech side to play in the EHL.
The Catalan derby between Real Club de Polo and Club Egara looks set to be a thriller (15.00) before the hosting Havestehuder THC welcome Scotland’s Western Wildcats (17.15).
Each side will line out for their second game on Sunday, October 2nd with the vital KO8 fixtures at 12.00 and 16.30 CET while the ranking matches are on at 09.45 and 14.15.
