Govers to play for Dragons next season

KHC Dragons have landed a big striker with Australian international Blake Govers moving to Brasschaat for the upcoming season.

He has scored 85 goals in his 117 caps and is returning for a third stint in Europe having previously played for Wimbledon in 2014/15 and Bloemendaal in 2016/17.

It provides a strong new presence to step into the shoes of Florent van Aubel who switches this summer to play with Pinoké in the Hoofdklasse and the EHL.

Govers is the first signing for Dragons since the arrival of Craig Fulton as new head coach, switching from Royal Racing Club de Bruxelles with whom he won the Belgian title last term.
