Bloemendaal complete perfect season to land 22nd Dutch title

HC Bloemendaal completed another perfect season as they beat Pinoké 3-0 in the second leg of the Dutch men’s final, landing their 22nd crown.

It puts them clear at the top of the all-time winners list, keeping the title they have held since 2019, denying Pinoké a first ever title.

Roel Bovendeert got two in the first half which made the difference, both typical goals of from the striker as he stole in, first to turn in Floris Wortleboer’s cross and then to finish off after a Jorrit Croon run.

Tim Swaen closed out the victory in the closing minutes with a tennis shot to make it 3-0 from a broken down penalty corner.

It means three in-a-row for Bloemendaal and the perfect send-off for Florian Fuchs who announced his retirement earlier this season, finishing his club career with a double.
