Frédérique Matla added to her already considerable legend as she scored the winning goal for Den Bosch with 40 seconds to go to hand them their 21st national title.
She dragged home the winner in a 2-1 success at Oosterplas to defeat SCHC in the third meeting of their series with the Bilthoven club having won leg two on Saturday.
And the challengers took the early advantage when Ginella Zerbo reacted brilliantly after a Yibbi Jansen drag was saved on the line by Imme van der Hoek; Zerbo batted it in first time for 1-0.
Den Bosch had the best of the first half, otherwise, but they could not make it by the goalkeeper Alexandra Heerbaart until the second half when Pleun van der Plas netted in similar style. Rosa Fernig has the initial strike and the second phase fell to van der Plas to slot home.
In an even fourth quarter, Den Bosch got their late chance from a corner and Matla nailed her lines for another magical moment in her career.
The victory also marked a perfect send-off for a departing trio with captain Marloes Keetels (ten national titles) hanging up her stick while Lidweij Welten (13 titles) goes to SV Kampong and Margot van Geffen (9 titles) will play for HGC next term.
Both Den Bosch and SCHC will play in the EHL next season.
