Roc Oliva signs off once again on Atlèti career

Roc Oliva has signed off on his Atlètic Terrassa career on a high note following his unexpected appearance in the Spanish Final Four, lifting his tenth title with the club.

He had retired from hockey in the summer of 2021 but injuries to Marc Vizcaíno and Johannes Mooij saw him coaxed back into the fold for the second half of this season.

He went on to play a key role, scoring two shoot-outs against Polo on the finals weekend as he lifted his eighth league crown with the club, adding to two Copa del Rey successes.

Oliva grew up at the club and broke into the first team in the 2005/06 season. He went on to play in four Olympic Games with Spain and picked up a European Cup silver in 2007.

The club, meanwhile, will welcome back Joan Tarrés next season following a season with Herakles in Belgium.

With Atléti, Tarrés has won a Copa del Rey and a League, as well as playing a part in the EHL 2021 silver medal winning side.
