EHF confirms implications for EHL of Russia and Belarus’s exclusion from competition

Following the statement of the EHF on the exclusion of Russian and Belarusian athletes and  officials for the foreseeable future, the implications for the Euro Hockey League and EuroHockey Club events 2022 are:

  • The Russian and Belarusian teams are excluded.
  • The rest of the qualified teams will continue in the divisions they are in.
  • The Ukrainian teams remain in the events until further notice.

The events impacted are listed below:

Euro Hockey League Final12 2021-2022 Men

Dinamo AK Bars (RUS) and HC Minsk (BLR) are excluded.

SV Arminen (AUT) and Atletic Terrassa HC (ESP) are awarded walkovers and will play Club de Campo de Madrid (ESP) and Bloemendaal (NED) respectively in the Final8.

The event dates remain the same.

EuroHockey Club Trophy I, 2022, Men

Dinamo-Elektrostal (RUS) and SC Stroitel Brest (BLR) are excluded.

The event dates remain the same.

EuroHockey Club Trophy, 2022, Women

HC Victoria (BLR) is excluded.

The event dates remain the same.

EuroHockey Club Challenge I, 2022, Women

Dinamo-Elektrostal (RUS), Ak Bars-Dinamo (RUS), GHC Ritm Grodno (BLR) are excluded.
