Mannheimer HC complete German final four line-up

Mannheimer HC secured the last of the German men’s playoff places as they ran up a 6-0 victory over Nuremburg last Sunday to join Ulhenhorst Mulheim, Rot-Weiss Koln and UHC Hamburg inf the final four.

Needing a win, they started off perfectly with two corner goals from Gonzalo Peillat in the first seven minutes before Guido Barreiros added another couple before half-time for a 4-0 lead.

Danny Nguyen Luong and Frederik Hillman completed the win by the 39th minute to lift them to third place, ahead of UHC on goal difference.

UHC drew their last game of the regular season with a 3-3 draw from Harvestehuder THC. HTHC had led 3-2 with goals from Jakob Misof, Hamish Imrie and Jan-Philipp Heuer but Jan Philipp Rabente equalised in the 60th minute.

It all means UHC will play regular season champions Uhlenhorst Mulheim on Saturday at 3.30pm (CET) in Krefeld. Rot-Weiss take on Mannheimer HC in the second semi at 6pm.
