Faust takes up role in Switzerland

After five years involved with the Czech Republic, Chris
Faust is switching to take up a role with Swiss Hockey as coach to both their
national teams.
Most recently the German man coached the Czech women to
promotion to the top tier of the EuroHockey Championships, winning silver in
Prague in July while he previously won bronze at the indoor World Cup in
Leipzig.
The 46-year-old said of the new
job: "I am looking forward to working with CEO Paul Schneider and
the exciting and long-term oriented tasks in Swiss hockey.
“I see these objectives holistically,
working from Under-14 level upwards. Our goal is, in addition to the
development and installation of a performance sports concept, the coach education and development of field hockey sport in Switzerland.”
