HOUSE RULES FOR EHL TICKET-HOLDERS AT SURBITON HC
Tickets are issued on behalf of the European Hockey League. By purchasing this ticket, you and your party accept that you will adhere to the following terms and conditions.
- This ticket is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain. This ticket cannot be used for prizes in a competition without prior written consent from England Hockey.
- Spectators will not be allowed admission to this event without a valid ticket.
- EHL reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- Should the event be cancelled for any reason, or have to be played with no spectators present, EHL will provide a refund for the cost of the tickets, minus the booking fee, for the match-day only – £1.50 per adult ticket and £1.00 per Under 18 tickets.
- This ticket does not guarantee a seated view of the pitch, as viewing areas are a combination of seating and standing except in the case of grandstand covered seating tickets.
- EHL and Surbiton Hockey Club cannot guarantee view this ticket refers to will not be affected by adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to events of force majeure, or concerns over safety and/or security, or that the view will not be affected by pillars or other structural apparatus or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. However, EHL and Surbiton Hockey Club will use reasonable endeavours to minimise the effects of these wherever possible.
- For the safety of spectators, event security may conduct bag and/or body searches and reserve the right to refuse admission and confiscate items. Any bags brought into the venue should be soft sided and be able to fit under a seat.
- No alcohol, glass bottles or cans may be brought into the venue.
- It is a criminal offence to enter or attempt to enter a sports ground while in possession of a flare, smoke bomb or firework so these items are strictly prohibited.
- All spectators who enter the venue with a ticket acknowledge that photographic images and/or video and/or sound recordings (and/or still images taken from video recordings) may be taken of them and may also be used in televised and/or radio coverage of matches and/or for promotional or marketing purposes by EHL, Surbiton Hockey Club or other third parties they sanction.
- The sale of any articles, or un-authorised charity collecting, in the gangways or anywhere on the venue premises is strictly forbidden except with the written permission of EHL, or Surbiton Hockey Club, and both parties reserve the right at their absolute discretion to confiscate any such articles for infringement of the condition.
- Surbiton HC is a no smoking site.
- Spectators must be aware of the risk of stray hockey balls entering the spectator areas from the field of play during the match, practice or warm up – EHL and Surbiton Hockey Club will not accept liability for injury caused by this.
- Spectators under the age of 2 years old, do not require a ticket.
- Spectators under the age of 18 years old must be off the premises of the venue by 10pm regardless if competition activity is still on-going unless supervised by a parent / guardian.
- This ticket remains the property of EHL at all times.
- We are sorry if any of your personal property is lost or damaged whilst at the event, but EHL or Surbiton Hockey Club cannot be held responsible.
- Cars parked on site or in remote car parks do so at their own risk. EHL, Surbiton HC, Long Ditton Cricket Club or Hinchley Wood School accept no liability for loss, damage or injury.
- EHL and Surbiton Hockey Club reserve the right to refuse admission and eject spectators from the venue.
