Club biography

Wimbledon became the first English club to reach the FINAL4 since Reading in 2011, becoming just the second club from the country to do so in the first 10 seasons of the EHL thanks to wins over German sides UHC Hamburg and Mannheimer HC.

After over a month away from competitive action, the FINAL4 did not go to plan with defeats to both Oranje-Rood and KHC Dragons but Ben Hawes and his side can reflect on a strong showing. They return for a third successive season in the EHL thanks to their regular season victory in England before missing out on the overall national title in dramatic fashion to Surbiton, losing on a shoot-out despite having a three goal lead with time running out in the final.

The side continues to have a healthy international presence with Henry Weir, Michael Hoare. Phil Roper and Ian Sloan ruling the roost. Their date with Bloemendaal in ROUND1 is set to be one of the highlights of the weekend in Barcelona while SV Arminen are their other opponent.
