Club biography

The Austrian record champions are returning to the Barcelona scene of their greatest European performance when, in October 2014, they beat Kelburne and then drew with Atletic Terrassa to top their ROUND1 group.

It made them the first Austrian side to reach the KO16 where they impressed against eventualchampions Oranje-Zwart, only losing 2-0.They have not competed since but produced an excellent run in last year's EuroHockey Trophy in Russia to boost Austria's national ranking to win back their place in the EHL.

Player-coach Dariusz Rachwalski - Poland's captain at the 2013 European championships - marshals the team for what looks a very tough group, meeting Bloemendaal - who they have hosted in Vienna for training camps - and Wimbledon who reach the FINAL4 last season. Arminen opened their season with victory in the first ever Austrian Super Cup.
