Club biography

Real Club de Polo will be hoping they can finally push on beyond the KO8 having reached that phase of the competition in three of the last four seasons. They qualified for their 10th EHL season courtesy of their regular season success but they missed out on the Spanish title at the hands of Atletic Terrassa.

For the 2018 KO16, there will be a number of changes. Olympic gold medalist Lucas Vila has switched to Mannheimer HC while Xavi Lleonart goes to Bloemendaal. Ramon Alegre has come in as assistant coach while innovative Belgian striker Max Plennevaux arrives at the club from Royal Leopold with whom he scored 24 goals last season.
