Racing Club de France

Club biography

Racing Club de Bruxelles return to the Euro Hockey League after a two year absence, looking to emulate and improve on their run to the FINAL4 in 2014 rather than their two ROUND 1 exploits in their two other EHL appearances.

They have a wealth of Olympic silver medalists now in their ranks with Tom Boon, Simon Gougnard, Cedric Charlier and Jerome Truyens, along with the Rio reserve goalkeeper Jeremie Gucassoff. Irish defender Conor Harte adds yet more Olympic talent.

It gives them real star power but they have seen Kevin Beckers retire while another Ireland’s Chris Cargo has moved to England to play with Hampstead and Westminster.

They finished the Belgian season last term as runners-up to Dragons in the national final. As such, they will have fire in their belly to try and beat their country rivals in the KO16.
