Mannheimer HC

Club biography

The German champions are back for a third Euro Hockey League campaign - and second in succession - following their amazing run to the Bundesliga title, beating Rot-Weiss Koln to the title.

Since then, they have added Olympic gold medalist to their line-up with Lucas Vila joining Gonzalo Peillat at the club with fellow Argentine player Guido Barreiros continuing in the side. He adds to their international flavour with USA’s Patrick Harris and South Africa’s Rhett Halkett involved but Czech sweeper Tomas Prochazka has moved back to his homeland for work reasons.

Last year, Mannheim beat Club Egara to reach the KO8 but were undone by England's Wimbledon.
